The Optimal IV Team

FOUNDER & OWNER

Roxy Selzer

Roxy is a BSN-RN in her 7th year of nursing with a wide range of professional medical experience including working as a Phlebotomist, making her highly proficient and experienced in placing IVs.

After Phlebotomy, Roxy became a Certified Surgical Technician where she worked with a private plastic surgeon's office for 3 years. The experience she gained here has followed her throughout her nursing career, which started when she graduated from Cumberland University in 2017. After working in the ICU caring for Cardiac, Medical, and Neuro ICU patients, Roxy then transferred to the OR and trained in Vascular, General, Robotics, Ortho Trauma, General Trauma, Plastics, Podiatry, Transplants, and Cardiothoracic surgery. She spent just under 4 years as a travel RN, which challenged her to become the exceptional nurse she is today.

Roxy founded Optimal IV Hydration and Wellness out of a desire to help her local community be proactive in their health. After experiencing a potentially life-saving IV Hydration Clinic experience (ask her about it and she’ll give you the details), Roxy realized the importance of a safe and comfortable space to ask questions and have an informative conversation without judgment, which is exactly the environment she strives to create at Optimal IV.

Roxy is also the main caretaker for her 100 year-old-grandfather, who is a wealth of history! In her downtime, she loves to travel with her husband and spend time with her two Great Danes, Rogan and Pearl.
